Donate to the Dr. Dan Climb Higher Award Program

The Dr. Dan Climb Higher Award honors the memory of Dr. Dan Brandvold, a cherished friend and dedicated member of the Alaska Rock Gym who passed away in August 2025 after a battle with cancer.

Supporting the Next Generation

Dr. Dan’s passion for the sport and his community lives on through this initiative. The award program provides financial assistance for travel-related expenses, specifically supporting youth climbers at the Alaska Rock Gym as they pursue their competitive goals.
